CHEMICAL CLEANING
Chemical Cleaning Division:
Our Chemical Cleaning Division is capable of performing the complete range of chemical cleaning services. We perform acid and alkaline cleaning, passivation, sanitization, de-greasing, de-rusting, and any other chemical deposit removal process required by our clients.
Induchem Services’ chemical cleaning procedures have become part of the regular maintenance programs of many industries. Deposit free equipment improves efficiency and capacity, minimizes system failure and costly emergency repairs and downtime, resulting in increased production.
Methods of application for chemical cleaning include recirculation, fill and soak, spray and vat cleaning. Each method requires a different technique to bring the cleaning solution in contact with the surface to be treated. The concentration of active components in the cleaning solution and the concentration of the principal contaminant to be removed are monitored frequently to determine the progress and the equilibrium or end-point of the chemical reaction.
Solvents and metal temperatures require control within carefully established limits to prevent damage to the system while permitting the chemical reactions to proceed at acceptable rates.
Chemical cleaning:
is a process to remove scale, corrosion, grease, oil, and other undesirable deposits from a surface using detergents, solvents, acid or alkaline solutions. Chemical cleaning is typically performed on boilers, condensers, coolers, economizers, heat exchangers, pipelines, reactors, stills, tanks, water jackets, and other industrial equipments.
Acid and alkaline cleaning are a specialized processes using acid and/or alkaline solutions to remove specific deposits from a system.
Passivation is a process to provide or restore
the capacity of a metal to resist corrosion. The process is widely used for distilled, deionized and injection water systems fabricated in titanium, aluminum, iron, nickel and chromium alloys. Depending on the metallurgy, nitric or phosphoric acid solutions and/or the Citrosolv process can be utilized to passivate the system.
Sanitization is a disinfection procedure to control algae and bacterial growth commonly used in potable and sterile water, nitrogen, compressed air and other high purity systems. Chlorine, hypochlorite and ammonium compounds are some of the chemicals used for sanitization.
De-greasing and De-rusting are procedures to remove surface grease and rust using specific detergents and solvents.
On Site Steam: we have a 10 HP trailer mounted boiler to provide on-site steam as needed. This boiler is available for daily, weekly or monthly rentals.
